Techies4Good (T4G) is a joint initiative with Illawarra Multicultural Services.
T4Gs are Code.Sydney's elite team. Its members are seasoned software and data engineers with proven commercial experience, published portfolios, invited and nominated by community leaders.
Please note that 90% of the revenue goes to those who did the work, 5% goes to IMS, and the remaining 5% goes to Code.Sydney.
Promie Yutasane
Promie is a Full-stack Software Engineer specialising in the JavaScript ecosystem, with expertise in TypeScript, NodeJS, Express, NestJS, NextJS, PostgreSQL, and AWS services, backed by DevOps experience. He holds a Master of IT from UNSW, focusing on Database Systems and E-Commerce Systems. Currently, at Nine Entertainment on the 9Now Identity team, he plays a key role in enhancing the Single Sign-On service. Promie is dedicated to the software engineering community, mentoring new developers, standardising GitHub processes, and implementing GitHub Actions to improve the CI/CD pipeline.
Phil Gerard Soto
Phil, an experienced data engineer, leads end-to-end data projects, from ingesting data from various systems to modeling, transforming, and visualising data. Beyond his technical expertise, he actively contributes as a mentor to the Data Engineering Pilipinas Community and serves as a project lead at Open Source Software PH.
Emily Jo Vizmonte
Emily is an experienced data scientist with expertise in clustering, predictive modeling, and text mining using traditional and non-traditional data. Proficient in Python, SQL, SAS, PowerBI, and AI tools. Proven research skills with publications about impactful change and strategic insights.
Faith Morante
Faith is an experienced software engineer with a proven track record across diverse companies, from startups to large enterprises. She specialises in modern tech stacks, including React, Next.js, and Node.js, and is quick to adapt to new technologies as needed. She has successfully delivered projects of varying scopes, either independently or as part of a larger team. Her approach is hands-on and pragmatic. She stays current by engaging with the tech community, contributing to side projects, and mentoring up-and-coming developers. Her experience spans global clients, including those in the US, Australia, the UK, New Zealand, and Canada.
